Confined Space Rescue

The Long Beach Fire Department responded to the 1400 block of Walnut at 4:55pm on Saturday, November 9th for reports of a person trapped in a confined space. On arrival, Firefighters found a worker buried to his waist in mud.  The Long Beach Fire Department Urban Search and Rescue Team was requested and assisted in successfully extricating the patient. The patient was treated on scene and transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital in minor distress.
