{"id":1051,"date":"2009-03-05T15:22:54","date_gmt":"2009-03-05T23:22:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1051"},"modified":"2009-03-05T15:54:27","modified_gmt":"2009-03-05T23:54:27","slug":"rescue-drill-onboard-the-queen-mary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1051","title":{"rendered":"Rescue Drill Onboard The Queen Mary"},"content":{"rendered":"ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>On the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of February 2009, the Long Beach Urban Search and Rescue Team once again joined forces with the USAR team from LA County fire station 103 for a confined space drill on board the famed Queen Mary.\u00a0 In this scenario there were a total of 3 victims-requiring rescue from below decks at the same time.\u00a0 Great skill and coordination is required in order to make this type of operation successful.\u00a0 Both teams utilize similar equipment and techniques, which, in turn, produces a seamless operation.
