The first, whose occupant escaped unharmed, burst into flames shortly after the accident. While Engine 5 extinguished the car fire, Engine 18, Truck 19, Rescue 17 and BLS 17 attended to the second vehicles. After a 10-minute extrication, two patients were transported to a local Trauma Center in stable condition.
