{"id":1335,"date":"2009-05-25T05:55:24","date_gmt":"2009-05-25T13:55:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1335"},"modified":"2009-05-25T05:55:24","modified_gmt":"2009-05-25T13:55:24","slug":"an-afternoon-traffic-accident-entraps-one-patient-and-injures-two-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1335","title":{"rendered":"An Afternoon Traffic Accident Entraps One Patient And Injures Two Others"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At 3:03 on the afternoon of May 24<sup>th<\/sup>, Engine 10, Truck 1, Rescue 10, Rescue 1, BLS16 and BC1 responded to a report of a two vehicle injury traffic accident with a possible trapped victim at the intersection of 10th St and Gardenia Ave.\u00a0 Once on scene it was discovered that a 35 year old female was trapped inside her vehicle.\u00a0 There were also two other patients requiring treatment but did not require extrication.\u00a0 It took the crew of Truck 1 ten minutes to cut the woman from the wreckage. Rescue 1 transported an approximately 12 year old male trauma patient to Long Beach Memorial.\u00a0 Rescue 10 transported the extricated 35 year old female trauma patient to St. Mary&#8217;s Medical Center.\u00a0 BLS 16 transported a 24 year old patient with minor injuries to St. Mary&#8217;s Medical Center.
