{"id":1408,"date":"2009-06-23T07:05:39","date_gmt":"2009-06-23T15:05:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1408"},"modified":"2009-06-23T07:05:39","modified_gmt":"2009-06-23T15:05:39","slug":"boaters-rescued-from-a-capsized-powerboat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1408","title":{"rendered":"Boaters Rescued From A Capsized Powerboat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday June 21st at approximately 6:35 pm the Long Beach Fire Department Marine Safety Division received a mayday call involving an overturned 20 foot power boat with 2 persons in the water at the east end of the federal break wall.\u00a0 RB-2 and RB-3 responded, rescuing the male and female victims from the water, turning the vessel right side up and removing all water from it.\u00a0 They then towed the boat back to the South Shore launch ramp.
