{"id":1600,"date":"2009-08-10T10:48:39","date_gmt":"2009-08-10T18:48:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1600"},"modified":"2009-08-10T10:48:39","modified_gmt":"2009-08-10T18:48:39","slug":"rider-of-a-scooter-struck-by-a-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1600","title":{"rendered":"Rider Of A Scooter Struck By A Vehicle"},"content":{"rendered":"ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>On the morning of August 10, 2009 at 9:59 am Long Beach Fire Department units responded to the corner of Martin Luther King and 7<sup>th<\/sup> Street to a report of a vehicle vs. a motorcycle.\u00a0 While responding, further information was received that the rider of the motorcycle may be trapped beneath the car prompting the addition of Truck 1 and a battalion chief to the response.\u00a0 Upon arrival, Engine 2 crewmembers found a scooter crushed beneath the front bumper of a vehicle and it\u2019s rider lying in the middle of the intersection.
