{"id":1901,"date":"2009-12-18T05:37:20","date_gmt":"2009-12-18T13:37:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1901"},"modified":"2009-12-23T14:05:47","modified_gmt":"2009-12-23T22:05:47","slug":"multi-vehicle-accident-with-ejected-victims-closes-the-710-freeway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/firechannel.org\/blog\/?p=1901","title":{"rendered":"Multi Vehicle Accident With Ejected Victims Closes The 710 Freeway"},"content":{"rendered":"ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>On the evening of December 17, 2009, just after 7:00 pm, units from Long Beach Fire Department were dispatched to the south bound 710 freeway at the 91 to a report of an injury traffic accident with an overturned vehicle.\u00a0 Long Beach Engine 12 arrived on scene to find two SUV\u2019s that were involved in a collision, one appearing to have rolled multiple times.\u00a0 The Captain of Engine 12, realizing there were a large number of patients involved declared a multiple casualty incident and called for additional resources.\u00a0 A total of 9 patients were riding inside a medium size SUV including two children that appeared to be 4-5 years old.
