The location is a marijuana collective and was closed at the time of the fire. The suspect is observed arriving at the location, breaking the front window and then setting the fire. The fire ignites with a large flash, and the suspect is seen running away with his hands on fire. Investigators believe the fire may have injured the suspect. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Surveillance video of this scene can be viewed here: <a href=\"http:\/\/longbeach.granicus.com\/ASX.php?publish_id=877&#038;sn=longbeach.granicus.com\">http:\/\/longbeach.granicus.com\/ASX.php?publish_id=877&amp;sn=longbeach.granicus.com<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><strong>On Tuesday May 17, 2011 @ 1:49 AM <\/strong>(24 hours later), a second fire occurred at 1441 East 7th Street. This commercial location provides public assistance to woman with infants and children, along with baby food, clothing and other items for expected mothers. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Both fires were determined to be arson and may be related. This is a joint investigation with the Long Beach Fire\/Police Arson Unit and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Los Angeles Field Division. The ATF is offering a $ 5000 reward leading to the capture and conviction of the suspect(s). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u201cSomeone knows who did these senseless acts, so I urge all the good citizens of Long Beach who may know something to please call the Arson Hotline, and share the information they have. We will not let this case go; the individual(s) involved shows a careless disregard for the public\u2019s safety, &#8220;says John A. Torres, Special Agent in Charge ATF Los Angeles Field Division. \u201cATF and the Long Beach Fire Department will use every investigative tool available to pursue the person(s) behind these crimes before someone gets hurt.
