The apartment was located at 4467 Atlantic Ave.\u00a0 Long Beach Fire Department units arrived on scene to find dark smoke billowing from a second story window.\u00a0 Interior crews made a rapid interior attack while firefighters from the truck company \u00a0performed vertical ventilation.\u00a0 The fire was confined to a back bedroom due to the aggressive attack by on scene units.\u00a0 The cause of the fire is under investigation.\u00a0 There were no reported injuries to civilians or to firefighters.
