The training included a safety briefing and an overview of the aircraft; members of the US&amp;R team were then hoisted into the aircraft to complete the &#8220;Pick Off&#8221; operation.<\/p>\n<p>This drill was undertaken to improve the ability to transport US&amp;R team members and equipment to remote locations in a rapid period of time to help facilitate rescue operations.
