Sparky at Pacific Hospital

On October 21st, 2011, the Long Beach Fire Department and Sparky the Dog stopped by Pacific Hospital to say hello to over 300 students from the Jackie Robinson Academy.  The hospital staff did great job directing the numerous waves of kids and giving them all plastic fire helmets.  The kids were all very excited to give Sparky a “High Five.”  After pictures were taken they had a chance to ask the Firefighters from Engine 7 an array of questions about their rig.  This was another great event where the kids had a chance to interact with their local Firefighters.
