Ocean Blvd. Apartment Fire

On Monday, December 8, 2008 at 11:18 A.M. Long Beach Fire Department Units; Engine 8, Engine 14, Engine 4, Truck 14, Rescue 14, Battalion Chief 2, Arson 4 and Arson 2 responded to a report of an Apartment Fire on the 6000 Block of East OCEAN BLVD, LONG BEACH, CA 90803. Upon arrival an Apartment Fire incident was found, units made an aggressive attack on the fire, with a search of the residence for any occupants. The unit was clear of occupants and the fire was isolated to furniture in the room of origin.
There were no injuries to any civilians or Firefighters; the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
A total of 9 apparatus and 21 personnel responded to this call.
This incident occurred in council district #3
