East 51st Street Garage Fire

On Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at approximately 7:30 PM the Long Beach Fire Department responded to a reported detached garage fire in the 200 block of East 51st Street. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished. There was major fire damage to the garage and stored items in the garage. One adult male was transported to an area hospital or minor smoke inhalation by LBFD Paramedics.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No other information is available on this incident.
