Long Beach Search and Rescue Recruitment Night

The Long Beach Search & Rescue Unit will host their annual recruitment night on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 7 pm. Displays of rescue equipment and live rescue demonstrations will be presented.
Young men and women between the ages of 15 and 18 who would like to explore career possibilities in the law enforcement, fire protection and emergency medical services fields are encouraged to apply.
This program provides young adults an opportunity to serve the public during emergency situations while encouraging them to explore career possibilities in the law enforcement, fire protection and emergency medical services fields. Long Beach Search & Rescue is an award-winning Learning for Life Explorer Post co-sponsored by the Long Beach Police Motor Patrol and Long Beach Firefighter’s associations.
Search & Rescue is located at 2247 Argonne Avenue, adjacent to the Fire Department Training Center.
