Small Brush Catches Fire Spreading Into Garage
By JJohnson | November 12, 2008
On Tuesday, November 11th at approx. 6pm, Engine 9 was called out for reports of a brush fire on the 3700 block of Lime Ave.. Once on scene they realized that the fire had spread from the brush and wood piles in the back of the residence, and was now getting into the detached garage. E9 asked for a full assignment response, which means 2 additional engines, 1 truck, 1 rescue, and a Battalion Chief. E9 made an aggresive attack and stopped the fire from engulfing the garage minimizing the damage to the strusture.
