Injury Traffic Accident On Spring And Clark

Friday, August 7th, 2009 LBFD units responded to reports of an ITA (Injury Traffic Accident) with a trapped victim, South of the the intersection of Clark Avenue and Spring Street. Truck 19 was the first unit on scene and reported there was one victim, the driver of the Volvo, was hit on the drivers side door. Units were able to get her out through the passenger side door. Due to the significant impact to the drivers car, she was taken to a local hospital for evaluation by Rescue 17.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injurred and did not require medical attention.
Truck 19, Rescue 17 and Engine 18 were the units on scene.
