LBFD Units On Display For Leadership Long Beach

By Jackawa Jackson | December 2, 2008

On the Morning of December 1st, companies from Long Beach Fire Department put on a large static display for the members of Leadership Long Beach outside of the ECOC.  Units in attendance included, Task Force 6, Engine 24, Haz Mat 24, Truck 7, Engine 7, Rescue 2, and the LBFD LARCOPP vehicle.  Also in attendance was the LBPD swat vehicle.

Leadership Long Beach was founded in 1989 by some of our community’s most influential and visionary stakeholders. These founders envisioned the formation of a civic improvement program that would serve the community by educating and motivating leaders on issues important to the future and sustainability of our city. A corresponding purpose was to create a network of knowledgeable and informed community leaders who would support each other as they continued in their professional and personal areas of endeavor.

All members of Leadership Long Beach were very appreciative of the time and effort exerted by LBFD members on a daily basis.
