LBFD House Fire

At approximately 8:57 a.m. this morning the Long Beach Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in 2600 block of Oregon Avenue. The first arriving unit reported heavy smoke from several windows. Firefighter were able to quickly extinguish the fire. The residence sustained heavy damage. One firefighter suffered a minor injury and was treated and released at the scene.
The cause of the fire in under investigation. No other information is available at this time.
